Sing to the Lord a New Song!

 

◎ Psalm 96:1~6

1. Sing to Jehovah a new song.

   Sing to Jehovah, all the earth.

2. Sing to Jehovah, celebrate His name.

   Proclaim the good news of His salvation day after day.

3. Declare His glory among the nations.

   His wonderful works among all the peoples.

4. For great is Jehovah, and greatly to be praised,

   Fear Him always above all gods.

5. For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols,

   but Jehovah made the heavens.

6. Honor(splendor) and dignity(majesty) are before Him,

   strength(mighty) and beauty(orderliness) are in His sanctuary.

   * The new song is a song that only those who, having experienced

     deliverance and touched by, are able to sing its praise.

     God’s reign and final triumph, are able to sing its praise.
