Searching the Bible(1) - Genesis

 

 

[1] What is the first five books of the Old Testament?

Pentateuch: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy

 

[2] What is the meaning of “the heavens and the earth?” (Genesis 1:1)

All the world

 

[3] “In the beginning” when God created this world, why did God first proclaim “let there be light?” (Genesis 1:3)

This means that God changes the world of disorder, void, and darkrness into the world of order, harmony and freedom.

 

[4] On which day did God created a man? (Genesis 1:31)

On the sixth day

 

[5] What did God form a man when God created him? (Genesis 1:27)
