Searching the Bible(2) - Genesis

 

 

[1] What are the names of rivers flows from Eden? (Genesis 2:11~14)

Out of Eden, there it divided and became four rivers: Pishon, Gihon, Tigris, and Euphrates.

This means that when we become delight in God, the delight overflows to others. 

 

[2] What is the meaning of “a helper?” (Genesis 2:18)

God created us as beings who help each other.

 

[3] What did the snake do to the woman? (Genesis 3:4~5)

The snake deceived with plausible words.  

 

[4] What did God say to the man who hid himself in the middle of the garden’s trees? (Genesis 3:8~9)

"Where are you?"

 

[5] Why did God make the man and his wife leather clothes and dress them? (Genesis 3:21)

God sent them out from the garden of Eden. But God gave them grace.

 

[6] Why did God send the man out of the garden of Eden to farm the land from which he was taken? (Genesis 3:23)

God made them know that they were creatures, not Creator.

 

[7] What is the difference between Cain’s offering and Abel’s offering? (Genesis 4:3~4)

God had regard for Abel and his offering, but God had no regard for Cain and his offering.

Because Abel's life and his worship was perfect, but Cain's life and his worship was imperfect.

 

[8] Until what age did Enoch live? (Genesis 5:24)

"Enoch walked with God. Enoch was not on earth, for God took him."
